Wie beim MotoGP, wo nur die maximale Power zählt. Diese Trockenkupplung wird nun auch für die anderen V4-Modelle,
an denen sie serienmäßig nicht vorgesehen ist, verfügbar sein. Damit ist die Kupplung STM EVO-SBK gemeint: 
ein aus dem Vollen bearbeitetes Alu-Bauteil mit Kupplungsglocke und -scheibenpaket mit 48 Zähnen, 9 Mitnehmerscheiben
und 9 Belagscheiben mit einem Durchmesser von 138 mm. Beim Einsatz des Motorrads auf der Rennstrecke bietet sie 
ausschlaggebende Vorteile in Sachen Fahrfeeling. Insbesondere garantiert die Trockenkupplung eine wirksamere 
Antihopping-Funktion und in allen „off-throttle”-Phasen ein flüssigeres Ansprechverhalten. Dazu kommt noch
die Möglichkeit einer individuellen Anpassung der „mechanischen“ Motorbremskraft, wenn eine andere Sekundärfeder aus
dem Katalogangebot gewählt wird. Ein wichtiger Pluspunkt ist der Wegfall des vom Motoröl gebotenen Widerstands und 
ein saubereres Öl, da der durch den Verschleiß der Scheiben entstehende Staub nicht in das Schmiersystem gelangt. Der 
Racing-Charakter der Trockenkupplung und der kultige Sound bieten den leidenschaftlichsten Ducatisti einen Zusatzwert,
von dem sie begeistert sein werden.

Just like in MotoGP, where the only thing that matters is utmost performance, the dry clutch is also made available for this model. This is an STM EVO-SBK clutch made from billet aluminium with housing and 48-tooth plate pack. The plates are 9 driven and 9 lined with a diameter of 138 mm. When racing on the track there are important benefits in ease of handling. Specifically, the dry clutch ensures a more effective slipper function, even during the most aggressive downshifts, and greater fluidity during all "off-throttle" stages. In addition, the "mechanical" engine brake level can be customised by choosing a different secondary spring from those available from the catalogue. Other important advantages are the absence of resistance from the engine oil and cleaner oil since the plate wear dust is not conveyed into the lubrication circuit. The racing character of the dry clutch and its iconic sound are exciting added benefits for the most passionate Ducatistas.
